K-State picked him up last offseason after he emerged as a rising star at Monmouth, where he averaged 20.1 points and made 127 three-pointers as a sophomore. His perimeter shooting translated well to the Big 12, but injuries held him back. A broken foot sidelined him for the final 14 games, and the Wildcats limped to a 12-win season without him. Before the injury, he showed flashes of high-level scoring, including a season-best 26 points with seven threes against Nebraska and eight additional games with at least 15 points.
