“We’re obviously disappointed with today’s performance,” head coach Grant Robbins said. “Our ball striking was off all week, and it really showed on the back nine. This course requires precise approach play, and we didn’t execute consistently enough. We’ll evaluate what needs improving and get back to work. This is a resilient team, and I’m confident they’ll bounce back with a strong showing at Big 12s.”

Senior Alex Lindstrom led the Wildcats, tying for 18th at even-par 216—one of just 22 players in the 104-man field to finish at even par or better. The Stockholm native notched his fifth top-20 finish of the season and third straight after shooting a 1-over 73 that included five birdies, capped by one on the final hole.

“Alex had a solid week,” Robbins added. “He’s been steady all season, and it’s great to see him earn another top-20.”

K-State’s best round Tuesday came from senior JP Roller, competing as an individual. He carded a 1-under 71, jumping 25 spots into a tie for 37th at 5-over 221. Starting on hole 10, Roller was 1-over through 16 holes before closing with back-to-back birdies, marking his sixth under-par round of the season.

Freshman Oliver Toyer finished one shot behind Roller and tied for 40th. Senior Shea Harmeson and sophomore Fionn Dobbin tied for 69th at 11-over 227, while freshman Ville Virkkala tied for 77th at 14-over 230.

Host Mississippi State erased a nine-shot deficit to tie No. 15 Ole Miss for the team championship at 17-under 847. Mississippi State’s Dain Richie and Ole Miss’ Tom Fischer shared medalist honors at 8-under 208.

K-State returns to action April 27–29 at the 2026 Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.
