In the mid-1950s, Singer left her home in Sevierville, Tennessee to pursue her dream of stardom. After finding fame, he returned to his native lands and opened Dollywood on May 3, 1986.
The theme park was a place where families could spend time together in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. At the same time, it has created hundreds of jobs for local residents. Next year, the park will celebrate its 40th season. The park has changed over the years. Star Singer and her friends are always adding new attractions, new rides and new festivals. At the same time, the park continues to grow in all these years. When the park opens for the 2025 season, it will do so with a busy schedule to celebrate this historic anniversary. Dollywood is offering several new and recurring events to celebrate its 40th season. On March 14, the day of l ‘season preview’ will kick off the season for a select group of park visitors.The next day will start the I Will Always Love You music festival which will run until April 13th.
