Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs and cornerback Terrion Arnold are back in practice, leading a long list of key contributors recovering at the right time for Detroit. Coach Dan Campbell said Gibbs and Sam LaPorta returned to practice camp Sunday and are recovering from hamstring injuries. Arnold also practiced Sunday after suffering a pectoral injury, and guard Kevin Zeitler returned Monday. “He’s moving in the right direction,” Campbell said of Gibbs on the field for the Week 1 opener at Ford Field against the Rams. Gibbs rushed for 945 yards with 10 touchdowns as a rookie last season, adding 52 receptions for 316 yards and a touchdown. Another starting cornerback, Ennis Rakestraw, was scheduled to practice Monday. Campbell said there’s a “good chance” the Lions will have most of their roster available for Week 1. Arnold and Rakestraw were the Lions’ first two picks in the 2024 draft.
