Rappers have shared their support for each other in a viral online exchange about the upcoming election. The two Michigan-born stars have taken opposing positions as the 2024 presidential election approaches, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, appeared alongside former President Barack Obama at a rally in Michigan on 22 October to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris. Meanwhile, he performed at the Republican National Convention in July, where he made some changes to his song “American Bad Ass” to match the upcoming elections. While some may think that their different political leanings could cause a rift in their friendship (the two have collaborated together before), it seems that could not be further from the truth. Star Singer emailed a video to Newsweek, which he also uploaded to X (formerly Twitter), sharing his support for his friend, to which the rapper responded online.
