The Buffalo Bills cleared Josh Allen to play Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins after a season-opening injury, but the quarterback may take extra precautions to stay healthy this week.
Allen injured his hand during a fourth-quarter punt in the team’s 34-28 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 8. The Bills quarterback rushed near the goal line and jumped over Cardinals safety Budda Baker, crashing into the end zone and landing on his left hand.
Allen had his hand bandaged and was able to finish the game, after undergoing X-rays the Bills cleared him to play in Week 2, but photos from the team’s practice this week show the quarterback with a new gloves on the left hand.
