General manager Mike Elias is hopeful Henderson’s recovery will be brief, with the injury expected to keep him out for only a matter of days. The 23-year-old All-Star, who hit .281 with 37 home runs and 92 RBIs last season, was forced to leave a spring training game on February 27 due to discomfort in his lower right side.
