Hey everyone, it’s Jelly Roll. I want to take a moment to be completely honest with you all, because I believe in the power of truth and the strength of community. About three days ago, I went through surgery. It was a necessary step, something I had to do to take care of myself and move forward. I’ve been treated, I’ve been listening to the doctors, and they tell me I’m going to be okay. And I believe them. I have to. Because even in the face of uncertainty, hope and faith are what keep us moving.
But I also know that healing isn’t just about the physical. It’s deeper than that. Healing is mental, emotional, and sometimes spiritual. It’s a journey that goes beyond the scars and the medicine. It’s about the heart and the mind, about finding peace in the chaos, and strength in vulnerability. And I’ve learned that sometimes, the most powerful healing comes from connection—the kind we share with those who genuinely care.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you today—not for money, not for attention, but for something more meaningful. I’m asking for your prayers. Not just a passing thought or a quick message, but real, heartfelt prayers. If my music, my words, or my story has ever touched you—if you’ve ever felt something from my work, if my acting or lyrics have resonated with you in some way—then I’m asking you to send a little strength my way now.
I know not everyone will, and that’s okay. I understand that we all have our own struggles and our own battles. But I also know that the ones who truly feel it—those who have been moved by genuine emotion, who have connected with the truth in my life—those are the ones I’m talking to. The real ones. The ones who believe in the power of love and prayer and community. To you, I say thank you in advance.
Life has a way of testing us, pushing us to our limits, and sometimes even breaking us down just to build us back up stronger. I believe this is one of those moments. I believe that with your support and your prayers, I can heal not just physically but emotionally and spiritually. I want to come out of this stronger, more grateful, more grounded—ready to keep sharing my story, my struggles, and my hope with you.
I want you to know that I don’t take this lightly. Your support means everything to me. It’s what keeps me going when the nights are long and the doubts creep in. I’ve always been open about my journey—the good, the bad, and the ugly—because I want you to see that even in our darkest moments, there’s a light. That light is love, faith, and the power of community.
So I ask that you take a moment—whether it’s in your quiet time, during your prayers, or simply in your heart—and send a little strength my way. Imagine your love, your good energy, your hopes wrapping around me like a warm blanket, giving me the courage to keep fighting, to keep believing, to keep healing. I need that. We all do at times.
And I want you to know that I’m not giving up. I’m not backing down. I’m going to get through this. I will be back on my feet soon enough, standing stronger than ever. This is just a chapter, not the whole story. And your prayers, your love—they’re the wind beneath my wings.
Thank you for walking this road with me. Thank you for trusting me enough to share your heart, to connect with my words, my music, my story. You’ve shown me what real strength looks like—compassion, loyalty, and genuine love. And I promise to carry that with me as I heal and move forward.
So, if you feel it in your heart, send a prayer, a positive thought, a little bit of hope. Whatever you believe in—God, the universe, love—use it for me now. Because I believe in the collective power of good intentions and faith. I believe in us.
I’ll be back on my feet soon enough, and I’ll come back stronger—more grateful, more real, more me. And when I do, I’ll be singing your praises, sharing my journey, and reminding everyone that even in the toughest moments, love and faith can carry us through.
Much love to each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of this journey—your support, your prayers, your kindness mean more than words can say. Keep me in your thoughts, and I’ll keep fighting, for myself and for all of us. See you soon.
