While the exact nature of the injury has not been fully disclosed, sources indicate that Klubnik is expected to undergo further evaluations and treatment to determine the best course of action for his recovery. It is unclear how long he will be out, but it’s expected that the team will rely on backup quarterbacks to fill the void in the meantime.

Clemson’s head coach Dabo Swinney expressed his support for Klubnik in a statement, saying, “We are all behind Cade as he recovers. He’s a tough young man, and we know he’ll be back stronger. In the meantime, we have full confidence in our other quarterbacks to step up and lead this team.”

Klubnik, a highly touted freshman, has been a key player for Clemson this season, throwing for over 2,000 yards and helping guide the Tigers through some challenging games. His performance has been integral to the team’s offensive success, and his absence will certainly put more pressure on the rest of the squad.

As Clemson prepares for their next game, the focus will shift to the remaining quarterbacks on the roster. Freshman backup, Hunter Helms, along with sophomore Taisun Phommachanh, are expected to take on increased responsibilities in Klubnik’s absence
