Jahmyr Gibbs had an outstanding fantasy finish in 2024, particularly during the crucial fantasy playoff weeks. His strong performances in Weeks 15-17 were pivotal in securing his status as one of the top running backs of the season.
In Week 15, he posted 28.4 PPR points, finishing as the RB2 for the week in a matchup against the Buffalo Bills. The following week in Week 16, he further solidified his position, carrying the ball for 109 yards and a touchdown while adding four receptions for 45 yards, finishing as the RB7 in full PPR with 25.4 points.
His Week 17 performance against the San Francisco 49ers was another highlight. He rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, adding four catches for 46 yards, which earned him the RB2 spot in full PPR for the week with 26.3 fantasy points.
For the entire 2024 season, Gibbs finished as the RB2 in full PPR leagues and the RB3 in standard and 0.5-point PPR formats. His remarkable consistency and dominant performances during the fantasy playoffs, where he was the RB1 in full PPR, made him a league-winning player. Although Jonathan Taylor’s five rushing touchdowns in Weeks 16 and 17 kept Gibbs from claiming the RB1 spot in standard and 0.5-point PPR formats, his overall performance throughout the season and particularly in the postseason made him a key fantasy asset in 2024.
