BREAKING NEWS: AC/DC’s Angus Young Invests $3.6 Million to Build Shelter for Homeless Youth in Tennessee

Nashville, TN – Legendary AC/DC guitarist Angus Young is making noise in a whole new way—this time with heart, not just riffs. The iconic rocker has reportedly invested $3.6 million to transform a historic estate in Tennessee into a safe haven for homeless and at-risk youth.
The move comes after Young visited a local youth outreach center while on a break from touring. Struck by the stories of resilience and struggle, he decided to take action.
“I’ve spent my life on stages around the world—but some of the most powerful moments I’ve experienced lately have been talking to kids who just need a break,” Young said in a statement. “This isn’t charity. It’s humanity.”
The facility—tentatively named “High Voltage Haven”—will offer beds, meals, educational support, music therapy, and a studio space for youth to explore their creativity.
Construction is expected to begin later this year, with doors opening in late 2025.
