The Detroit Lions possess the most effective offense in the league.
Although Ben Johnson has led their offensive admirably, it’s time for him to take on new challenges.
He will therefore be among the league’s most sought-after commodities throughout this hiring cycle.

Not even a request for an interview will be made by the Jets.
Johnson is a strong candidate for the role of head coach this season.
He’s helped Dan Campbell’s club seal up the No. 1 seed in the NFC and the best record in the league.
They begin the playoffs as one of the strongest Super Bowl prospects.
Several teams should be lining up outside his door, but the Chicago Bears are reportedly one of the teams hoping to sign him during the offseason.
The 38-year-old might be the next youthful coach to take charge of a squad.
His inventiveness as a play designer and schemer has made him someone to keep an eye on, and even if the Lions don’t win the whole thing this season, he’s earned the right to be in charge of his own team
