Hellebuyck improved to 36-7-2, while the Jets moved to 42-14-3 on the season. Cole Perfetti and Mason Appleton scored early, Kyle Connor netted his 31st goal, and Mark Scheifele sealed the win with an empty-netter. Thomas Chabot scored for Ottawa, while goalie Linus Ullmark stopped 36 shots in a losing effort. The Senators are now on a five-game losing streak.
