The Golden State Warriors cruised to a dominant 128-92 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night, with seven players scoring in double digits. Buddy Hield led the way with 16 points, while Kevin Knox made a compelling case for a longer stay in Golden State.

Though Knox hasn’t had consistent rotation minutes after joining on a 10-day contract, his performance during the final 15 minutes stood out. The former ninth overall pick hit two threes and delivered the play of the game—an electrifying one-handed alley-oop dunk. Knox also contributed 12 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks in just limited action, showcasing his potential on both ends of the floor.
With his 10-day contract ending soon, it’s almost certain that Knox will stay with the Warriors. The real question is whether Steve Kerr will find a spot for him in the regular rotation, especially with Jonathan Kuminga’s return looming. If anyone’s minutes are at risk, it could be Gui Santos, who has played well but is less established in the lineup. Regardless, expect Knox to be re-signed in the coming days.
