Arkansas running back Ja’Quinden Jackson, who rushed 24 times for 149 yards and three touchdowns, was not on the field for the final play of the game because he was suffering from cramps.
While Jackson received medical attention after being helped off the field, running back Rodney Hill was stopped for a one-yard loss on fourth-and-1 from the Oklahoma State 6.
“We didn’t know if he could go or come back,” Arkansas coach Sam Pittman said of Jackson. “He had a lot of cramps and they were all over his hip. “He’s probably going to get an IV [after the game] because he’s going to have cramps all over his body if we’re not careful. I’m sure they’ll take care of it.”
